In network marketing, a calendar is your boss.

The goal is to get your calendar filled up with appointments.

And here is a simple breakthrough.

Send a simple message, instead of calling people.

Why?

Because text messaging has become a preferred communication channel.

It is easy to do, with no objections.

It is fast, which boosts confidence.

It creates action, and a new person can get things to move faster.

It creates results, filling your calendar with more appointments.

A simple private message is the best.

It does not create anxiety like a phone call.

It eases the rejections if they happen.

They are not felt so personally as in the phone call or the meeting.

But what to write in a text?

Remember, your main goal is to set an appointment.

Give the person an idea of what the appointment will be about.

You can say, “I have an idea that I want to discuss with you.

Now people may still have objections.

It’s just that you will not feel them as personally through text messages.

And you need to be prepared to handle these two types:

The ones that object to network marketing in general.

The ones that object to the company you want to present.

You say it is not about that but then ask about their objection.

They might have a story that will give you more insight.

Use something like: “Have I made you uncomfortable with speaking about NM or company, and why?

Then back up a little, but still have a meeting with them, having a conversation.

Just talk and build rapport!

With your new distributor, ask them to send 10 texts in the next 30 minutes.

Then after they succeed, ask them to do a hundred in the next two weeks.

Why?

100 texts = 30-50 appointments.

Let us say we got 38.

Out of that appointments, a new person has got 12 customers and 4 distributors.

Then he can duplicate that and create momentum.

Imagine and create tasks for your group, as a contest.

In it, even if they don’t hit the goal, they will get results and build momentum like never before.

Focus them on simple steps and easy actions, and share and write about their experience with this.
