Why Is NMB Not Working for Me?

I was at a group event with some network marketers a few days ago.

That time I ended up responding to a really interesting question that isn’t talked about enough:

“I’m doing everything I’m being told to do, why am I not seeing the results?”

Essentially, what do you do when the inputs are correct but the outputs aren’t in linear relation to the inputs?

People ask this question at least once in their time as network marketers.

The answer to this question they usually get is something like “trust the process”…

So here’s my brutally honest yet tangible feedback:

First off, anything having to do with NMB doesn’t EVER have a linear course.

If you expect it to, you’re setting yourself up for massive disappointment.

Second, something I’ve recently learned is to test when you’re up, not down.

I’ve often in the past resorted to trying new methods to achieve the results I wanted.

Usually, it was when I’ve been in periods of uncertainty from a lack of results.

Aka, I was straying from systems and solutions.

The same ones that had helped countless other network marketers achieve the same results I was wanting.

I don’t know about you or if you’ve ever had this inclination, but when you’re down, DON’T test.

Lean in.

Even if it’s against your emotional judgment, and trust me it will be.

And lastly, this mindset shift has proven invaluable for myself and others we’ve worked with:

Do everything you possibly can to not make the same mistake twice.

Mistakes and missteps are a natural part of growing your skills and your business.

But that doesn’t mean that repeating them has to be.

The key here is having a relationship with mentors/coaches/people who are where you want to be.

That way you can have someone to bring your mistake out and seek clarity on how to avoid it next time.

You need clarity on both the inputs and outputs that lead to a certain outcome.

A good coach or mentor can help you with that virtually instantaneously…

You’ll also get feedback on what you can do in the future to get the outcome you want the VERY next time.

Imagine having that short learning curve!

What would that momentum and clarity feel like for you?

Remember, business is NEVER linear.

Surround yourself with people who know more than you do about the things you want to know.

This way you’ll ALWAYS win.
